Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Bonita Springs, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. This position is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounting and financial management. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards. • Prepare and review journal entries, verifying proper documentation and adherence to policies. • Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. • Handle bank reconciliations, ensuring alignment between financial records and bank statements. • Assist with financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes. • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies. • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. • Provide guidance and support to accounting staff who are early in their careers as needed. • Participate in audits and assist with the preparation of audit documentation. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management. • Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger maintenance. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation processes. • Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting. • Familiarity with accounting principles and regulatory compliance requirements. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
