As a Resort Director you are responsible for the operational management and profitability for the resort and the management of the resorts'Homeowners Association(S). Responsibility includes managing the front office, housekeeping, maintenance, recreation and retail functions. The Resort Director operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Commitment and dedication to our service culture is an expected behavior to be displayed towards our guests and team members at all times.

Job Functions

  • Attends all meetings an other managerial gatherings, as directed by Hilton Grand Vacations.
  • Organizes, plans, and directs the resort's operations and functions.
  • Creates and monitors guidelines by which all employees are hired, developed, counseled and terminated.
  • Develops and maintains cost and labor controls to ensure operation with budget.
  • Prepares for and conducts monthly annual Association and Board meetings, keeping owners and board members advised aboutbut not limited to, property management activities, committee reports, financials, correspondences from owners, manager'sresponses to inquiries, officers reports, legal notices, and anything pertaining to the operation of the Association(S) that has occurred since the prior meeting.
  • Assures compliance with labor laws and respectablyareas of responsibilities.
  • Provides efficient and effective operation of the resort management functions. Guides and directs employees to achieve goals and objectives established.
  • Maintains an awareness of new trends or anything that may affect the property. Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of State and Federal laws governing the operations of interval resorts.
  • Coordinates with accounting staff to ensure that accurate records are maintained.

    QualificationsWhat are we looking for?

    • 3-5 years management experience
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
    • Excellent communication, training and team building background required
    • Florida Community Association Manager's License (CAM) obtain within 6 months
    • HOA Experience- Preferred
