This and other physician jobs brought to you by DocCafe.com First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician to join a newly formed primary care group with three (3) other physicians in October 2021. The practice is located in the highly desirable area of Venice, Florida on the West Coast of Florida. The area is known for the arts, great restaurants, nationally recognized beaches, excellent schools and a wide variety of activities for all ages.
Sarasota Memorial is building a new state-of-the-art 110-bed hospital in Venice, which will open in October 2021. It will include 90 private acute-care patient suites, 20 private observation suites, 25 bed Emergency Care Center and 8 surgical suites. The new practice will be in the Medical Office Building attached to the hospital.First Physicians Group is Florida's Gulf Coast leader in primary and specialty care with an impressive 26-year history in the community. Practice Information:

• Outpatient only. FPGs Hospitalist group will cover inpatient admissions at both SMH-Venice and Sarasota Memorial Hospital's Main Campus.
• Physician will see approximately 18 patients per day.
• Practice hours run 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. with some flexibility.
• Nights and weekend call will be shared with other FPG practices in Venice.Highlights of the position:
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine and 5+ years of experience is required.
  • Physician must have an unrestricted license in Florida.
  • Teaching of Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students is available if interested.
  • As an employee of a public, State of Florida organization, physicians are entitled to sovereign immunity.
  • We are a not-for-profit entity. Physicians can participate in the PSLF program if employed by FPG.
  • Relocation allowance is provided.
  • Employment contracts include a generous 2 year guaranteed salary with bonus potential along with excellent comprehensive benefits - health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 403B Retirement Plan, CME, PTO, and 7 paid holidays, among many other benefits.
