Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with pediatric OR experience and BLS certification for a night shift contract position. Responsibilities - Work in the hospital Operating Room serving both adult and pediatric patients - Specialties include ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Ortho, Spine, and Neurosurgery cases - 12-hour night shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - Floating required, with travelers first to float and potential to float to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes distance - On-call required, averaging about 4 calls per month with a variety of call types - Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience preferred - Travelers are expected to function as core staff - Orientation starts on a Friday with remote components and onsite badge pick-up - Flexible and team-oriented candidates preferred - No block scheduling or post-offer scheduling changes allowed - Holiday and weekend coverage as scheduled - Professional scrubs required - All required testing and vaccinations, including COVID and flu, must be up to date - First time travelers are welcome to apply Requirements - Active FL or compact RN license - Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required - Pediatric OR experience required - BLS certification required; CNOR preferred - Nursing degree from an accredited program or 5 years of experience if degree not accredited - Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred - Must reside outside a strict 50-mile radius from the facility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-667034.
