Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled
PRN CT Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical
imaging examinations utilizing computed tomography (CT) technology,
under the guidance of our experienced radiology department. As a
PRN staff member, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality
care and precise diagnostic services to support patient treatment
in areas such as emergency care, orthopedic surgery, and
cardiology. Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic
images according to physician orders and applicable guidelines.
Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures. Prepare
patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and addressing any
concerns. Administer contrast materials as required under the
direction of medical personnel. Ensure proper maintenance of CT
equipment and report any malfunctions. Collaborate with physicians
and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging
techniques and treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records
and adhere to confidentiality protocols. Proficiency in the use of
CT imaging equipment. Strong understanding of radiology and medical
terminology. Excellent patient management skills ensuring comfort
and safety. Ability to work effectively both independently and
within interdisciplinary teams. Detailed knowledge of safety
protocols and regulatory requirements for CT. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified as
a Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT. Valid state licensure as a
Radiologic Technologist. CPR certification is required.
