New Year, New Role: Emergency Medicine Director Locum Starts Dec
31st in FL We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Board
Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to take on an
exciting 3-month interim Chief locum tenens role, starting December
31, 2025. This leadership position involves the operational
oversight and management of emergency medical services across three
surrounding Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs) in a
beautiful coastal community. Key Responsibilities: Provide
strategic and operational leadership as the EM Chief for a
multi-site network. Manage operations, workflow, and a team across
three FSEDs. Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and
optimal clinical outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
to drive department efficiency. Emergency Department & Support:
Annual Volume: 35,000 visits (combined). Main ED: 20 beds with 12
fast-track treatment chairs. Physician Coverage: 30 hours per day
(12-hour shifts: 6 AM - 6 PM, 6 PM - 6 AM). APP Coverage: Average
of 24 hours of support daily. Technology: State-of-the-art CT,
Ultrasound, fully integrated PACS system, and a Separate Pediatric
Triage/Waiting Area. Accreditation: Recognized as an Accredited
Stroke Center of Excellence. Qualifications: Must be Board
Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. Current ACLS and
PALS certifications are required. Located on the stunning Gulf
