Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy
Assistant (OTA) to join our innovative healthcare team. We
specialize in providing high-quality, integrated healthcare
services across facility-based and home-based settings Nationwide.
In this role, the OTA will work closely with Occupational
Therapists to implement therapeutic plans and help patients
develop, recover, improve, as well as maintain the skills needed
for daily living and working. Assist Occupational Therapists in the
development and implementation of patient care plans. Help patients
perform therapeutic activities as outlined in the care plan.
Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising
therapist. Maintain a clean and safe working environment according
to healthcare standards and regulations. Educate patients and
families about home programs and other outpatient care techniques.
Document patient sessions and outcomes for billing and reporting
purposes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to
follow detailed instructions Knowledge of therapeutic techniques
and patient care Basic computer skills for documentation and
reporting Physical endurance and dexterity Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified and licensed as an OTA
CPR certified
