Job Description MedSource Staffing Agency is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant. This is a FULL-TIME temp to hire position with an amazing OBGYN practice in the Tampa & St Petersburg area Please Do NOT apply to this position if you cannot work full time hours each week To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current and valid Florida or compact state Medical Assistant (MA) license and be certified from a medical assistant program and have at least one to two years of prior experience in a medical setting preferably an OBGYN or Women---s Health. Pay Rate : We pay weekly Hourly pay rate starts at $16.00/hr. to $16.50/hr. Depending on experience with room for pay growth This is not a 1099 position, this is a W2 position through MedSource Staffing Agency for a Temp-to-hire full time position. MedSource Staffing Agency has a simple and easy application and onboarding process post interview. Medical Assistant Responsibilities: Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance. Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assisting practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care. Administering injections to patients are requested by medical staff Preparing and administering medications for patients as directed by physicians. Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality. Delivering compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families. Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA. One to two years of experience in a medical setting. Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems. Qualifications/Credentials Needed: Must be able to provide at time of hire a current Certified Medical Assistant (MA) license from FLORIDA or compact state Proof of current CPR/BLS a plus At time of hire can provide a Current COVID Vaccination Record --- recommended by not required Provide two professional references post offer One to two years of experience in a medical setting. Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems.
