Learning and Development CoordinatorDescriptionLearning & Development CoordinatorLocation: Madison, FLROLE SUMMARYThe Learning and Development Coordinator's primary responsibility is working in partnership with the L Specialist to provide learning strategies and programs to employees. The primary focus of the L Coordinator is on providing e-learning courses, career plans, workshops, classroom training, shadowing, observational competencies, and skills evaluations and rubrics where applicable. Also, the L Coordinator will deliver training such as orientations and other topics as needed to new employees.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver training content such as workshops and new employee orientation as well as other learnings in collaboration with operations.Evaluate individual and organizational development needs while working closely with operations and learning specialistImplement various learning methods company-wide (e.g. Instructor Led, E-Learning, coaching or web based)Partner with Learning and Development Specialist to identify and plan earning courses, workshops and other trainings.Assess and provide feedback the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunitiesWork hand in hand with specialists, managers and leaders develop their team members through career pathingTrack budgets and negotiate contracts where available.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSProven experience as an L or Training Coordinator or similarCurrent knowledge of effective learning and development methodsAbility to cater to the continuous operational changes for learning needsFamiliarity with e-learning platforms and practicesExperience in project management and budgetingProficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumenAbility to build rapport with employees and vendorsBSc/BA in Business, Psychology or a related fieldProfessional certification (e.g. CPLP, CPTM)ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving recordMust be willing to submit to and pass a comprehensive background record screening.Must be at least 21 years of ageMust possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job dutiesPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistanceMust be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasksMust have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditionsMust be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)WORK SCHEDULE46+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on needs. Shift work is necessary.
