Histotechnician I-Mohs - part time - 1 day per week

Histotechnician I - Mohs is responsible for assisting the Mohs
surgeon during the grossing of specimens; process, embed, cut and
stain tissue specimens. In addition, the Histotechnician is
responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and cleanliness of
the laboratory area.
An earned associate degree in a chemical or biological science or
medical laboratory technology, obtained from an accredited
60 semester hours or equivalent from an accredited institution.
This education must include 24 semester hours of medical laboratory
technology courses OR 24 semester hours of science courses that
includes 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology
and 12 hours of chemistry, biology or medical laboratory technology
in any combination.
- Minimum or 1
year working experience with Mohs
(HTL, ASCP) or Histotechnician (HT, ASCP) certification

ENVIRONMENT AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Laboratory work environment with exposure to various chemicals and

required. Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity
