-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs ordered examinations of appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site reading physician.
• Maintains patient care, comfort and safety during transport to and from the mobile coach/facility and during the exam.
• Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company sponsored training programs.
• Under guidance and approval of site Radiologist, administers contrast agents and/or radiopharmaceuticals according to site-specific protocols.
• Completes and signs the Patient Screening form and reviews/explains the procedure to the patient.
• Provides images to the facility in the desired site format.
• Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems; places service calls and notifies all pertinent team members of issues.
• Maintains a clean environment inside and outside of the mobile coach/facility.
• Completes necessary administrative tasks
• Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Cooperates with facility healthcare professionals and complies with facility policies/procedures.
• Complies with all safety policies and regulations including radiation safety.
• Maintains current Permits to Practice in all states in which services are performed.
• Performs a variety of tasks. -

• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
• Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations. -

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  Education & Experience:
  
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
    
    • At least 2 years of experience in radiology.
    • Registered with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T), PET - Certification from the NMTCB, and must be licensed with the State of Arizona. - - -
    • Requires - completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). -
    • SimonMed Imaging requires a valid "Hands-On"CPR certification.
      PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
