experienced Direct Support Professionals for our Intense Behavior
(IB) Home! We have immediate openings for first shift (7 AM - 3 PM)
second shift (3-11 PM) and weekend shifts (Sunday, 7 AM-3 PM)
(Saturday 3 PM to 11 PM). Looking for meaningful work? Join us as a

THE LIFE OF A BEHAVIOR ASSISTANT / CAREGIVER As a Behavior
Assistant, you provide direct care to adults with autism or
developmental disabilities in a group home setting that encourages
the individual's personal success. You provide this direct care
during your 8-hour shift in their group home. You will enjoy meals
together, go on fun outings, help them with their chores. Your work
as a Direct support Professional (DSP) will be needed in their
daily living skills including hygiene, grooming, shopping,
transportation, and housekeeping. Shalimare is licensed by the
Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). You will attend
training and receive certifications to learn how to protect and
assist this vulnerable population. You will provide first aid and
wellness care as needed and may assist with medical appointments.
You use your communication skills to keep accurate and up-to-date
documentation as well as promptly reporting any concerns about
health or safety to your Home Manager. You are a true Direct
Support Professional (DSP) in every way and find it very rewarding
to help individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
